Evening Sales Assistant

We are a family-run business seeking a Part-time Saturday Forecourt Shop Assistant to join our team at a busy petrol station in Castle Cary. Full on-site training will be provided. Saturday consists of two shifts - Morning = 8:00 am - 1:00 pm - Afternoon = 1:00 pm -5:45 pm Processing payments cash, card, and fuel card transactions for fuel, shop goods, and workshop invoices. Completing daily routines morning and end-of-day procedures. Maintaining shop standards restocking shelves, cleaning the shop area, and ensuring the coffee machine is cleaned and replenished. Checking product dates monitoring fresh food and completing other tasks as required. similar duties relevant to the role of a sales assistant may be requested from time to time. Job Type: Part-time Pay: Minimum Wage Saturdays, 8:00 am - 1:00 pm (5.0 hrs pw) or 1:00 pm 5:45 pm (4.75 hrs pw) Saturday availability is essential. Additional weekday availability particularly for morning and afternoon shifts would be highly beneficial to support holiday and sickness cover. Must be over 18 due to lone working and the sale of age-restricted products.
