About the role
Our client is seeking a Part Exchange Assistant to join their Plot Sales department. The key purpose of this role is to support conveyancers in the acquisition and resale of part exchange properties on behalf of housebuilder clients. This role would suit an organised and proactive administrator with strong communication skills who is looking to develop their career within a busy legal and property environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support conveyancers with the acquisition and resale of part exchange properties
• Open and close files in accordance with company procedures
• Assist with the preparation of standard legal letters and documentation
• Submit property searches, Land Registry applications and SDLT forms
• Prepare bills and invoices for completed transactions
• Communicate with clients, housebuilder partners and external agencies by telephone and email
• Build and maintain professional client relationships
• Provide a high level of customer service and administrative support
• Complete general administration duties including photocopying, filing and document management
• Maintain accurate and organised client files
• Ensure documentation is completed and processed efficiently
• Manage own workload and prioritise tasks effectively
Experience and Skills Requirements
• Previous administration experience, ideally within legal, property or professional services environments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Professional and confident telephone manner
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• High level of attention to detail
• Ability and willingness to learn new processes and systems
• Ability to prioritise and manage workload with minimal supervision
• Strong IT skills
• Team player with a positive and proactive attitude
• Professional, discreet and trustworthy approach
• Strong document management and administrative skills
Additional Details
Job Type: Permanent
Expected Days and Hours: Monday – Friday
Start Date: ASAP
Expected Notice Period: 1 month (once probation is complete)
Pay Increments: 1 month in arrears
