Are you a HGV or LGV technician looking to step into a waste management titan offering in house training on HGV repair, a company vehicle and ways to boost your income through extensive overtime and a call out rota?
This company is a leader in environment management with sites in every continent of the works and over 500 bases. Due to ongoing success and growth, they are seeking someone with a level 3 HGV qualification to join their team as a HGV Technician
This role will see you on a 4 on 4 off rolling rota (6am-6pm) while being on call out for two out of 4 scheduled shifts. You will be workshop-based conducting routine inspections and diagnostics on HGVs and performing repairs and maintenance tasks. You will be paid £25 a night while being on call and a 1.5x rate whilst being on call out.
This role would suit someone who holds a level 3 in HGV/LGV with little to no work experience looking to step into a global leading waste management company offering on the job training and plenty of opportunities to increase your income.
The role:
Routine inspections and diagnostics on HGVs
Repairs and maintenance tasks, including but not limited to welding.
4 on 4 off rolling schedule (6am-6pm)
On call for 2/4 shift schedule
Overtime at normal rate Mon-Fri, 1.5x Sat, 2x Sun
The person:
Level 3 HGV/LGV Technician qualification
Willing to commute to Wrexham
HGV, LGV, NVQ, Wales, Wrexham, 4 on 4 off, Company Vehicle, on call, overtime, progression Shropshire, Chester
