About the role

Our client is currently recruiting a Solicitor to join its Restructuring Team. The ideal candidate have between 0-4 years’ pqe and experience in restructuring, banking or litigation. This is a varied role and some of your responsibilities will include:

Supporting the partners in connection contentious insolvency mandates and financial restructurings.

Working on transactional insolvency mandates, including advising in connection with CVA’s, pre-packs and issues arising in connection with trading administrations, such as breach of directors’ duties.

Reviewing and advising cases for litigation funders.

Reviewing and advising in relation to banking documentation and dealing with amendments, side-letters, waivers and variations to existing security packages.

Advising the major clearing banks and alternative lenders in connection with distressed work-outs

Advising directors in connection with their own obligations in the context of an under-performing business.

Various Business Development activities, with a significant amount of client contact.
