Study Support Facilitator (Maths, Numeracy Focus), Term Time, Dolgellau

Job Purpose

To work as a member of the ALN Team to provide high-quality, learner-centered study support that promotes independence, builds confidence and strengthens essential academic and organisational skills.

Study support enables learners to understand how they learn best, overcome barriers and develop strategies that allow them to access, participate and progress successfully in their studies.

Support may take place within the Study Centre, online, or during twilight sessions (twilight 5-8pm) to ensure flexible and responsive provision.

Holiday Entitlement

• 28 days leave per annum, rising to 32 days after 5 full holiday years' continuous service (01 September to 31 August).
• All normally observed public holidays, determined annually.
• Up to 5 days efficiency closure days per annum, determined annually.
• Part-time contracts will receive a pro-rata entitlement to the above.
• Term-time contracts will receive a pro-rata entitlement to the above paid as part of annual salary.

Working Pattern

19.5 hours per week; 38 weeks per year (to be agreed and may include some holiday periods).
