The Role This is a brilliant opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a busy and collaborative finance team.
You will take ownership of the monthly management accounts process and play a key role in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
Whether you are part-qualified and looking to grow into the role or fully qualified and ready to hit the ground running, this is a position that offers genuine scope and responsibility from day one.
Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly management accounts to tight deadlines Perform balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis Support the budgeting and forecasting process Post journals and maintain the integrity of the general ledger Assist with VAT returns and statutory reporting requirements Produce financial reports and commentary for senior stakeholders Support the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance function Work closely with budget holders across the business to provide financial insight What You'll Need Essential: Solid experience in a management accounts or similar finance role Strong Excel skills and proficiency in accounting software Ability to work to month-end deadlines with a high level of accuracy Commercially minded with strong analytical skills Confident communicator
- able to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders Nice to Have: Part-qualified or fully qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA Experience with Sage, Xero, QuickBooks or similar Exposure to budgeting and forecasting in a commercial environment Why Apply? Salary £34,000
