Senior Management accountant Fixed term 16 months,
Hours -37.5 hours per week (Mon - Fri),
Location -Stockport / Hybrid,
Salary £32,000
About the role As a Senior Accounts Assistant your key responsibilities will include:
Submitting monthly and weekly payroll data to our payroll provider and checking the accuracy of the information they return
Resolving payroll queries from colleagues which often requires working closely with home management and HR
Posting payroll journals and performing reconciliations
Recovering overpayments, sometimes via small claims court
Setting up and processing Direct Debits, ensuring compliance with the scheme rules
Credit control including investigating cancelled/bounced Direct Debits
Raising sales invoices in CoolCare and identifying and resolving any billing anomalies or funding queries
Reviewing financial assessments and other paperwork for new admissions
Monthly bank reconciliations in Iplicit
Administration of Soldo prepaid cards
Ad-hoc tasks as required by Management Accountant and Finance Director

About you
We are looking for someone with previous experience working in a similar role with AAT level 3 or equivalent.
You will have good IT skills and experience using an accounts system such as Iplicit, Sage Intacct or similar.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are key, along with attention to detail and an ability to multi-task and problem solve.
