SENCO - Further Education College Location: Buckinghamshire Further Education College Permanent £46,000 - £53,000 per annum Are you an experienced SENCO or SEND professional looking for your next opportunity within a Further Education College? We are looking for an experienced SENCO to lead the strategic and day-to-day delivery of SEND support, ensuring learners with additional needs receive the provision, adjustments and support they need to succeed. The Role Lead and coordinate SEND provision across the FE College Lead on EHCP consultations, annual reviews and placements Work closely with local authorities, families and external agencies Liaise with curriculum teams to support inclusive teaching Advise on reasonable adjustments and SEND legislation Lead, support and develop the SEND / Support for Learning team Monitor learner support, progress and outcomes Oversee specialist agencies and individual learner provision Manage SEND funding and high-needs processes Lead staff training and promote inclusive teaching practice Monitor and improve the quality of SEND provision About You Strong Further Education College SEND experience Experience as a SENCO, SEND Manager, SEN Lead, ALS Manager or similar Strong knowledge of EHCPs and the SEND Code of Practice Experience working with local authorities and external agencies Experience leading or managing SEND / learning support teams Strong understanding of inclusive teaching and reasonable adjustments Experience using data to monitor learner outcomes Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills DfE-approved SENCO qualification, such as NASENCO Teaching qualification, or willingness to obtain oneIf you're an experienced FE SENCO or SEND leader looking for your next opportunity in Buckinghamshire, we'd like to hear from you.
