About the role
Prospero Teaching are recruiting for a full-time Complex Needs SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils at a welcoming primary school in Kings Heath from September 2026.
This role will involve working closely with children with complex additional needs, providing 1:1 and small group support both inside and outside of the classroom. The successful candidate will help create a safe, positive and engaging learning environment while supporting pupils with their academic, social and emotional development.
Role Details
Full-time, long-term role
September 2026 start
Primary school based in Kings Heath
Monday to Friday, school hours
Competitive daily pay, depending on experience
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Previous experience supporting children with complex SEN needs
A calm, patient and nurturing approach
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
Experience working within a school or care setting
An enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one
References covering the last 24 months
