Decorator - £34,598.26 + van - Bracknell

Your new role
Are you proactive, highly motivated, professional, and friendly? We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Decorator, working across Bracknell, Slough and surrounding areas.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for carrying out mould treatments, conducting ventilation surveys, and completing make-good decoration work in our customers' homes. Since our customers are at the heart of everything we do, excellent customer service skills are essential. We’re looking for someone who communicates clearly and regularly with customers, always aiming to go above and beyond to impress them with the quality of our service.
We pride ourselves in making sure our customers’ have the right to a safe and warm home. We operate a zero-tolerance approach to sub-standard properties.Our Healthy Homes team, play a vital role in this and lead on all things related to damp, mould and disrepair.
Your daily tasks will include completing scheduled work to a high standard within the allocated time, ensuring cost-effective delivery, and pre-ordering materials when needed—keeping the customer informed of progress at every step. You’ll be a key part of the team, working efficiently and effectively to maintain and improve properties, always following best practices in building maintenance.
You have a minimum of a City & Guilds qualification in Tiling and or Painting & Decorating up to advanced craft level, time served experience in tiling and painting & decorating, or NVQ level 2 qualification in Tiling or Painting & Decorating • Experience of carrying out tiling and decoration work in a similar role within a housing organisation or in-house contractor. • Knowledge and understanding of the range of policy, practical, and technical issues relevant to the provision of carrying out repairs, tiling and redecorations. • Experience of working as part of a trade team delivering to tight timescales • Full driving licence
We’ll provide you with your uniform, a van fitted with a van vault, racking and inverter, a fuel card, company tablet & mobile as well as the PPE you need to let you crack on with what you do best. You’ll be expected to supply your own hand tools and power tools. You'll require to cover Out of Hours Callouts on a rota basis so a clean driving license is a must!
