Infrastructure Specialist

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Windows Server, Active Directory and ideally SQL Server and/or Microsoft 365. • Excellent knowledge of VMware. • Working knowledge of managing Linux based server operating systems • Working knowledge of cloud-based solutions such as AWS and Azure. • Previous experience working with a variety of technology stacks for compute, storage, virtualisation and network products ideally consisting of Cisco UCS, HP Nimble, Pure, and others • Working knowledge of DevOps principals and technologies such as Terraform and Ansible, and scripting languages such as Python, YAML and Powershell would be advantageous. • Desire to achieve a high standard of quality to all aspects of work output. • Meticulous attention to detail and a systematic logical approach to problem solving with a pragmatic approach when necessary. • Proven experience of backup/restore packages, advantageous to previously have used CommVault. • Demonstrates commitment to quality, service and problem management. • Demonstrable and highly developed problem-solving skills across multiple areas of infrastructure.
