Senior Care Assistant - Magherafelt JBLE1_NI

We are seeking an experienced Senior Care Assistant to join a welcoming 13-bed care home in Magherafelt, providing high-quality nursing and dementia care. The role includes a mixture of day and sleepover shifts, with flexibility to work on a rota basis from Monday to Sunday. Medication refresher training will be provided before your start date if required. Pay: £15.50£20.00 per hour, depending on the shift, plus £75.00 per sleepover shift. You will be responsible for administering medication, supervising and supporting Care Assistants, providing person-centred care, maintaining and monitoring care plans, and promoting residents dignity, independence and wellbeing. You will also work closely with nurses and the wider care team to maintain excellent standards of care. Requirements: At least 6 months experience as a Senior Care Assistant, previous medication training before starting the role (essential), and a compassionate, reliable and professional approach. Most importantly, you should have a genuine passion for providing outstanding care.
