About the Role
We’re looking for a commercially minded FP&A Accountant to join the Finance Team and play a pivotal role in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and business partnering.
You’ll work closely with our Senior Leadership Team, transforming complex data into clear commercial insights that shape decisions across sales, operations, investment, and strategy. This is a high‑impact role for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys influencing business performance.
Financial Planning & Analysis
* Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals.
* Conduct detailed financial analysis, identifying trends and variances.
* Build and maintain financial models to support performance evaluation and future planning.
Financial Reporting
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
* Analyse and explain variances between actuals and forecasts.
* Provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
Commercial & Profitability Analysis
* Deliver commercial sales analysis and reporting.
* Conduct customer and supplier profitability analysis.
* Support pricing decisions, margin improvement, and investment evaluations.
Rebate & Investment Analysis
* Perform rebate analysis to ensure compliance and maximise financial return.
Business Partnering
* Act as a strategic partner to Sales, Operations, HR, and IT.
* Provide data‑driven insights to support decision‑making.
* Create dashboards and reports to enhance visibility and performance tracking.
Teamwork & Collaboration
* Work collaboratively within the finance team.
* Support and coach new team members.
* Promote an inclusive, supportive working environment.
Essential Experience & Skills
* ACCA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
* 3+ years’ experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or similar roles.
* Strong financial modelling and Excel skills.
* Experience with ERP and BI tools (e.g., NetSuite, Power BI).
* Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
* Strong understanding of commercial finance, pricing, and profitability drivers.
