We’re currently working with a welcoming secondary school in Salford who are looking to appoint a Maths Teacher from September 2026 for a long-term, full-time position.
This role would suit both ECTs starting their teaching career and experienced Maths teachers looking for a stable role within a supportive department. The school has a strong focus on staff wellbeing and understands the importance of helping teachers feel confident and supported from the very beginning.
ECTs will benefit from a dedicated in-school mentor, regular guidance, and a collaborative department that’s happy to share ideas and resources. For experienced teachers, this is an opportunity to join a settled and friendly team where your experience and teaching style will be valued.
The school is looking for someone who can bring energy, consistency, and positivity into the classroom, helping students build confidence in Maths and make meaningful progress.
What To Expect From The Role!
You’ll be teaching Maths across KS3 and GCSE, delivering engaging lessons that encourage participation and support students of all abilities.
Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum
Monitor pupil progress and provide effective feedback
Create a positive and focused classroom environment
Support students academically and encourage confidence in Maths
Work collaboratively with the wider Maths department
What The School Are Looking For in Applicants:
QTS or an equivalent UK teaching qualification
Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and GCSE level
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
A positive and enthusiastic approach to teaching
A genuine passion for helping students succeed
Right to work in the UK
