Machinist - Late Shift

Responsibilities of the CNC Miller Set and operate CNC milling machines to manufacture precision engineered components Load, edit and run CNC programmes to meet engineering specifications Manufacture components to tight tolerances and quality standards Carry out quality inspections and dimensional checks on finished parts Produce jigs and fixtures to support machining operations Monitor machine performance and respond to machine alarms Complete routine machine maintenance checks and maintain records Support continuous improvement activities within the machine shop Requirements of the CNC Miller At least 2 year’s experience setting and operating CNC milling machines Experience working within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment Knowledge of tooling, offsets and machine set up procedures Benefits of the CNC Miller Additional shift allowance Permanent position with a growing manufacturer Ongoing training and development opportunities Long term career progression opportunities Office: 0151 209 2050
