Electrician – Field Based, South East

Are you a skilled installation or maintenance Electrician looking for a stable, long-term opportunity with a respected contractor? If so, read on. Are you a qualified and experienced Electrician with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, a valid Gold Card and 18th Edition? Do you have experience installing emergency lighting, street lighting, festive lighting, fire alarms, access control systems, Solar panels, EV charging points, or similar electrical systems? We are looking experienced Electrical Engineers and Electricians to join our established team with our clients long established business. This is a permanent PAYE position, working Monday to Friday (40 hours per week), primarily field based across the Southeast Home Counties. While the role is mainly daytime work, there will be occasional overnight stays. Plenty of notice will always be given, and hotel accommodation plus a food allowance will be provided along with a stay away bonus. Locations to include (Kent, Essex, Hertfordshire, Bedford, Milton Keynes, Luton, Cambridge) The Role As an Installation and Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical installations and PPM’s across commercial and industrial sites. You will represent the company on-site, ensuring work is completed safely, professionally, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities * Carrying out electrical installation and maintenance works within commercial and industrial properties * Installing systems such as emergency lighting, fire alarms, access control, and EV charging equipment * Carrying out PPM’s * Providing excellent customer service when interacting with clients on-site * Accurately updating electronic job sheets and documentation * Travelling to sites across the South East and West Midlands (with accommodation provided for extended travel) * Ensuring full compliance with electrical regulations and codes * Following all health and safety procedures and reporting any potential risks * Maintaining the highest safety standards at all times * Flexibility for occasional overnight stays is required.
