Class 1 Drivers

Edge Staffing are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 Drivers (HGV C+E) for ongoing work with our client in the Gateshead area. We are looking for both day drivers and trampers for this contract. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right drivers. Work is available from both the Gateshead and Birtley depots. Pay Rates * Agency: £15.85 - £17.76 per hour (breaks paid) * £25 night out allowance (PNO) * Full-time salary potential: £42,000–£50,000 per year The Role * General haulage work (Curtain siders) * Ongoing work available Monday to Friday Class 1 Driver Requirements * Minimum 12 months’ Class 1 (C+E) driving experience * Must have held Class 1 licence for at least 2 years * Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card * No more than 6 penalty points (no DR or IN codes) * Strong knowledge of UK road laws and safe driving practices * Reliable, professional, and positive attitude What We Offer * Weekly pay with competitive rates * Supportive and professional team * PAYE only Interested in this Class 1 Driver position?
