PLC Software Engineer

Description Responsible for the successful execution of code development for PLC(s) within our client base / organization. Your job could entail periods of time away from the office/home during project implementation, standby and supporting the customer. As part of a global company, you may be required to work remotely both in the UK and worldwide. There will be a requirement to work some weekends as well as potential nights to support our customer projects which may entail aggressive deadlines during project implementation. Develop PLC code from drawings or to a customer’s specification. PLC Software development. Onsite commissioning and I/O testing / Setup. Should be effective in planning and achieving goals / objectives in the required time frame. Monitor and work to project budget deadlines. Excellent command of spoken and written English. Good at communication and writing skills including the ability to communicate at a detailed level with internal and external stakeholders. Managing of subcontract design resource to ensure quality of delivery. Project management, Engineering, Installation Teams. Continually build relationships with internal stakeholders to achieve the successful completion of projects. Always follow and promote Group and Company policies and procedures. Fully understand and always adhere to the Company’s Equality Policy at all times. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project. Emulate 3D Aerospace Mechanical/material handling Driving Licence.
