The company is looking to appoint a CNC Machinist / Programmer to join a small, skilled team of 3 engineers. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on low volume, high precision, heavy CNC milling and turning work, including lathe machining with live tooling capability, using Fanuc and Haas controls. However, the business is also open to experienced programmers from other control systems who can demonstrate strong transferable skills and the ability to adapt quickly to Fanuc-based programming. The company is very open to developing the right person, including operators or programmers looking to progress further technically or transition across control systems. 🔧 Key Responsibilities Programming, setting and operating CNC milling and turning machines Working with Fanuc and Haas controls Producing high-precision, low-volume components Machining heavy engineering components for specialist applications Including lathe work with live tooling operations where required Reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings Carrying out in-process inspection and quality control Supporting continuous improvement and workshop efficiency Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety 🌟 What We’re Looking For A confident CNC Machinist with strong engineering background Experience in Fanuc and/or Haas, or other CNC controls with transferable programming ability Strong background in milling and turning, including lathe and live tooling experience Ideally heavy engineering exposure A proactive, reliable and quality-focused approach Willingness to learn and develop programming skills further Team player who fits well into a small workshop environment 💥 Why This Role?
