Bookkeeper/Assistant Accountant We are working with a client based in Portadown to recruit for a Bookkeeper/Assistant Accountant to be part of their administration function.

This is a part time, permanent role with flexible working hours 20 25 per week.
The Bookkeeper/Assistant Accountant will be responsible for: Maintaining accurate financial records using Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Preparing monthly and annual accounts.
Reconciling all bank accounts.
Assisting financial auditors with the annual audit.
Updating the Omega system, reconciling monthly standing orders, and supporting the continued development and use of the system.
Preparing quarterly Gift Aid submissions to HMRC using Omega.
Administering payroll in line with HMRC requirements.
Receiving, checking, and filing invoices against delivery notes, and processing invoices for approval.
Distributing bank statements to organisation Maintaining registers of organisation treasurers and bank account signatories.
Completing statutory and regulatory submissions as required.
Overseeing utilities renewals (excluding contract negotiation).
Attending Finance Committee meetings (typically held in the evenings).
Administrative duties What you will need to have for the Bookkeeper/Assistant Accountant role: 3 years experience in a similar role Strong Finance experience Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting. xwzovoh
Proficient in MS Office to include Excel.
