Pharmacist - Clinical I am currently recruiting on behalf of HSCNI for Pharmacists (must be registered with PSNI and able to start by within the next few weeks) to work within a clinical setting. This is a great opportunity if you are working in community and would like to make the transition, where you will be supported and have continuous training. As a pharmacist, you will build relationships with a variety of health professionals and improve the lives of patients from all walks of life. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment where you can deliver genuine care. This role will be based in Belfast on a full-time basis (Mon-Fri). Eligibility Criteria Member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland (PSNI), or eligible for membership (foundation year completed in UK). MPharm - essential Right to Work in UK/Northern Ireland ***Please note, we cannot offer sponsorship's for this role*** Salary Band 6 £40,823 - £46,580 annual (+ holiday pay + pension & discount benefits) - Clinical experience advantageous but not essential for Band 6. Job responsibilities: Review and assess inpatient and outpatient prescriptions for legality, accuracy, safety and appropriateness of drug therapy. Ensure all work completed complies with Medicines Ethics and Practice, local policies and procedures, risk management and health and safety policies and protocols. Communicate recommendations on drug therapy to doctors, nurses and other relevant health care professionals. Liaise with relevant clinical pharmacists on patient care issues. Dispense and supply medicines. Advise patients on concordance with their medicines. Receive, store and supply controlled drugs in accordance with the Misuse of Drugs Act and Trust policy. Dispense clinical trial drugs according to protocols.
