*** Provide academic support across Maths in KS4
The Role:
Support KS4 pupils across Maths through 1:1 work and small-group intervention. You will help students strengthen number skills, algebra, ratio, problem solving, and exam technique, while reinforcing lesson content and feeding back clearly to teaching staff on progress.
The Candidate:
You are clear, organised, and able to explain ideas in a way pupils can actually follow. You want practical secondary school experience, enjoy helping students improve in Maths, and are keen to build the classroom skills needed for a future in teaching.
Requirements
Degree – A 2:2 or above in Maths, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Economics, or a related subject.
Communication – Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
Desire to work in education/with children – Genuine interest in supporting pupil progress and wellbeing.
Career Goals – A desire to train as a teacher and build a long-term career in education.
