Civil Litigation Lawyer

The Role: OurClient is seeking a talented and driven Civil Litigation Lawyer to join its growing dispute resolution team. This role offers a varied caseload acting for both businesses and individuals across a broad range of civil and commercial disputes. Key Responsibilities: * Manage a diverse caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters from instruction through to resolution * Handle disputes including: * Shareholder/director and partnership disputes * Breach of contract * Property litigation (commercial and residential) * ToLATA, boundary and neighbour disputes * Private nuisance, harassment and defamation * Will, inheritance and professional negligence claims * Debt recovery, possession and insolvency matters * Draft legal documents (including statements of case, witness statements and settlement agreements) * Conduct advocacy where appropriate and instruct counsel when required * Advise clients on strategy including ADR, mediation and negotiation * Ensure compliance with CPR and court deadlines * Maintain strong client relationships and support business development initiatives Candidate Profile: * Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) or CILEX Lawyer/Litigator with current practising status * Opportunities at: * 2+ PQE * 5–6+ PQE (senior level) * Strong knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) * Excellent drafting, analytical and advocacy skills * Commercially aware and client-focused * Strong organisational skills with ability to manage competing deadlines * Team player with ability to support junior colleagues What’s on Offer: * Competitive salary * Hybrid and flexible working * Clear career progression framework * Ongoing training and professional development * Additional benefits including parking
