Head of EmploymentWarwickshire | National Law Firm | Leadership OpportunityAre you an experienced Employment Lawyer looking for the opportunity to take the lead of an established and busy team?This could be an excellent opportunity to join a national law firm in Warwickshire and take responsibility for a successful Employment practice with an existing client base and strong pipeline of work. This is a genuine leadership opportunity for a lawyer who wants to play a key role in shaping the future direction of an established team, whilst continuing to develop their own practice and profile.The OpportunityThe firm is looking to appoint a Head of Employment to lead an already busy and well-established team. You will take responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and development of the department, working closely with the wider firm's leadership team to identify opportunities for continued growth. The team already has an excellent platform, meaning you can focus on leading, developing and growing the practice, rather than starting from scratch.Your role will include:Leading and developing an established Employment teamManaging a high-quality caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment mattersAdvising a broad range of businesses and organisationsDeveloping and strengthening existing client relationshipsIdentifying opportunities for further business development and growthActing as a key point of contact for major clientsMentoring and developing junior members of the teamSupporting recruitment as the department continues to growWorking collaboratively with colleagues across the firm's national networkRaising the profile of the Employment team within the Warwickshire marketAbout YouThe firm is looking for an experienced Employment Solicitor with the technical expertise, leadership ability and commercial approach to take the department forward. You may already be a Partner, Head of Department or senior Employment Lawyer who is ready to take on greater responsibility.You will ideally have:Significant experience across employment lawStrong contentious and/or non-contentious employment experiencePrevious experience of leading, managing or mentoring a teamA strong commercial approach and excellent client-care skillsA proven ability to develop and maintain client relationshipsBusiness development experience and a desire to grow a practiceA strong reputation within the Warwickshire and wider Midlands marketAbove all, you will be someone who enjoys leading people, developing clients and building successful teams.Why Consider This Role?This is an opportunity to take the reins of an already busy Employment practice, with the infrastructure and support of a national law firm behind you.
