Platform Engineer - Contract – Consulting - GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, Python / Go

Oliver Bernard are currently working with a Consultancy client of ours who are looking for strong Platform / DevOps Contractors, from a Development background, for a large Cloud, Container and Software focused project.

You’ll be expected to work in cross-functional teams, devised of DevOps Engineer, Architects and Developers, on a project to help scale the DevOps and Engineering practices for a key client of theirs.

To be considered for this position you must have experience with the following:

Strong experience with GCP
Containerisation / Orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes
History of IaC with Terraform, alongside CI/CD and Automation work
Background in Software Engineering, comfortable coding with an OO language (ideally Python, Go or Java)
Previous experience working in xwzovoh Finance or Regulated environments

This position can offer £650-750 p/day, inside IR35, for an initial 6 month contract, and operates a hybrid working model (with 3 office days p/week).
