You'll be working in a brand-new, state-of-the-art preparation centre, with modern workshop technology, excellent facilities and a professional working environment. What we offer Up to £38,000 basic salary DOE Overtime available Monday-Friday working pattern Brand-new, state-of-the-art facilities Latest workshop technology and equipment Clear progression and training opportunities Supportive, people-first environment 23 days' holiday + bank holidays, increasing to 25 days with service Company pension Staff discounts on vehicle purchases, EV chargers and servicing Recognition programmes Bike to Work schemeThe Role As an MOT Tester, you'll carry out Class 4 and Class 7 MOT tests, ensuring vehicles meet DVSA standards and are safe and roadworthy. You'll also: Accurately assess vehicle roadworthiness and identify defects Complete MOT documentation and digital records Work closely with technicians to ensure failed vehicles are repaired and retested promptly Carry out vehicle health checks where required Identify additional repair requirements Ensure MOT testing equipment is maintained and calibrated Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment Follow all DVSA, company and health & safety requirements Support the wider workshop and preparation teamsAbout You You'll need: A current and valid DVSA MOT Tester qualification Previous MOT testing experience Good mechanical knowledge and understanding of modern vehicles Excellent attention to detail A strong commitment to safety and compliance The ability to work efficiently in a busy environment Good communication and teamwork skills A full UK driving licenceGet in early.
