This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys building relationships, supporting managers and helping to create an engaged, inclusive and positive working environment.
The Opportunity
In this role, you will play a key part in delivering a responsive, professional and values-led HR service across the organisation. Working closely with managers and colleagues, you will provide practical advice and support on a broad range of people matters while helping to ensure HR processes are delivered efficiently, consistently and in line with employment legislation and best practice.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Providing day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers, employees and volunteers
* Supporting employee relations matters including absence management, performance, conduct, grievance, probation and flexible working cases
* Assisting with recruitment, onboarding and workforce compliance activities
* Maintaining accurate HR records and supporting reporting and audit requirements
* Promoting a positive, inclusive and values-driven culture
* Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the People Services function
Personal Profile

You will ideally have:
* CIPD qualification (or be working towards one) or equivalent HR experience
* Experience providing HR advice and support to managers and employees
* A sound understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practice
* Experience supporting employee relations casework
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* A professional, collaborative and compassionate approach
