This role sits within a market-leading Business Crime and sanctions practice, advising high-profile individuals and corporates on complex and often contentious matters.
The team provides expert advice across all aspects of UK sanctions and export control laws, including civil and criminal litigation, sanctions challenges and delisting, licensing, and enforcement issues. Their work is typically contentious in nature or involves significant contentious elements.
Clients include financial institutions, professional services firms, universities, NGOs and charities, as well as multinational businesses operating in sectors such as aerospace, defence, energy, engineering, and telecommunications.
The role will involve:
