Fabricator

FABRICATOR / WELDER** Our client is looking to hire a highly motivated and technically capable Fabricator to join our manufacturing team, in a quality-driven production environment. What You’ll Be Doing * Reading and interpreting technical and engineering drawings to manufacture sheet metal components * Forming and bending sheet metal and applying correct bend allowances * Carrying out MIG, TIG, or spot welding as required * Ensuring finished components meet dimensional tolerances and quality standards * Completing fabrication tasks to a high standard with minimal rework. * Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment * Supporting wider production activities as directed by the Fabrication Supervisor or Manufacturing Manager What We’re Looking For * Demonstrated experience working in a fabrication environment * Must have a good understanding of bend allowance, tolerances and material behaviour to achieve accurate results and the ability to calculate them. * Proven MIG welding experience * Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings * NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Fabrication & Welding (or equivalent) preferred What’s In It For You * Early finish every Friday! * 37.5 hours per week: Mon – Thurs 07:30 – 16:30, Fri 07:30 – 12:00 * 25 days holiday + bank holidays. * Life Assurance Scheme (2 x salary) * Tool allowance scheme * Optional overtime available * Opportunities for ongoing learning and development * Supportive, team-focused working environment
