Role: Senior Game Programmer Contract Length : 12 month sLocation : London (Hybrid )Start Date : ASA P Overvi ewWe are working with a game studio in London that is looking to hire a Senior Game Programmer to support the ongoing development of a live mobile game. This role focuses on delivering new features, improving performance, and strengthening the long-term technical foundations of the projec t. You will work closely with designers, artists, and other engineers to deliver player-facing improvements while contributing to broader technical and structural enhancements. The team operates with a high level of autonomy, and programmers are expected to take ownership of features from initial concept through to polished implementati on.Responsibilit ies Develop high-quality gameplay features and supporting systems that improve the player experie nce.Identify and implement long-term technical improvements to ensure scalability and maintainabil ity.Collaborate closely with cross-functional team members while independently delivering complete featu res.Write reliable, performant C++ code used by a large live player base, with a focus on optimisation including load times and runtime performa nce. Require mentsStrong professional experience in game programming with solid C++ exper tise.Ability to work effectively within existing codebases as well as design and build new sys tems.A considered approach to code quality, maintainable architecture, and long-term technical he alth.Strong learning mindset and genuine interest in games and techno logy.
