Date posted: 13 May 2026 Pay: £240.00-£270.00 per day Job Description: Site Manager – Freelance Brighton, East Sussex £30m Remediation Project | 2-Year Contract | We are currently seeking an experienced and degree-qualified Site Manager to join a major £30 million remediation project based in Brighton, East Sussex. This is a long-term freelance opportunity offering a 2-year contract with weekly pay, working alongside an established site team on a high-profile scheme. Reporting directly to the Project Manager and working under the guidance of the Contracts Manager, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of both internal and external packages across this complex remediation project. Key Requirements: Degree qualified ideally in Construction Management or related discipline Proven career history working with Tier 1 Contractors Strong experience managing both internal and external packages Facade experience would be highly advantageous Experience working within live environments and dealing with residents is desirable Strong understanding of Health & Safety and site logistics IT proficient, including experience using digital snagging platforms such as Fieldview Excellent communication and coordination skills Essential Certifications: Valid CSCS Card SMSTS First Aid at Work The Role: Overseeing subcontractors and package delivery Managing quality, safety and programme on site Coordinating logistics and maintaining site standards Supporting the Project Manager with daily site operations Ensuring works are delivered safely and efficiently within a live environment This role would suit a proactive and hands-on Site Manager who is organised, technically strong and capable of maintaining high standards across a busy remediation scheme.
