Project Lead – Civil Engineering (Utilities / Infrastructure) PLS Civil Engineering Ltd Location: Hull to Bridlington Corridor, East Yorkshire Salary: £60,000 – £80,000 per annum (depending on experience) Package: Company Vehicle + Fuel Card Employment Type: Full-Time | Long-Term Project PLS Civil Engineering Ltd are seeking an experienced Project Lead to take full responsibility for a major 65km ducting installation project running between Hull and Bridlington. This is a senior role overseeing delivery across challenging rural terrain including farmland, river crossings, road crossings, joint bays and lube chambers. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple work fronts, driving programme delivery and ensuring operational performance across the full project corridor. Key Responsibilities: - Full project ownership from mobilisation through to completion - Managing multiple site teams and work fronts - Planning and delivering programme outputs across the full route - Overseeing trenching, ducting, chambers and crossings - Managing subcontractors, plant, labour and logistics - Driving productivity and programme performance - Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and RAMS - Producing accurate reporting and progress tracking - Liaising with clients, landowners and stakeholders - Supporting cost control and commercial awareness Essential Requirements: - NRSWA Supervisor qualification - SMSTS - First Aid at Work - CSCS Gold or Black Card - Full UK Driving Licence - Proven experience delivering civil engineering or utilities projects - Experience managing linear infrastructure schemes - Strong understanding of trenching and duct installation - Ability to manage multiple gangs and work fronts Desirable: - NEC contract experience - Temporary Works knowledge - Strong planning and programming capability - Experience working in rural environments What We Offer: - £60,000 – £80,000 salary depending on experience - Company vehicle and fuel card - Long-term secured project - Senior leadership role within the business - Opportunity for progression within a growing contractor
