Class 1 HGV Driver

Class 1 HGV Driver Pertemps are recruiting for Class 1 HGV Drivers to work for our client based out of East Midlands Gateway. As a Class 1 HGV Driver you will undertake trunking work to other company sites, NDC's and RDC's. This is clean work with no handball and presents long term work for Class 1 HGV Drivers. There will be opportunities to be taken on permanent as well should that be a pathway you'd like to explore.  Shift Patterns / Working Hours Available: + 4 on 4 off / Weekdays / Weeknights + Guaranteed 9.6 hours per shift minimum pay with OT paid out after 9.6 hours each day. The successful Class 1 Driver will: + Have a valid Class 1 License for a minimum of 6 months + Have a valid tacho and DQC card + Have a positive can do attitude Your duties as a Class 1 HGV Driver will include: + Trunking goods around the UK - No handball + Trailer swaps and backloads You will receive: + Nights - £18.75 per hour + Nights OT after 9.6 hours daily - £28.12 per hour + Days - £16.38 per hour + Days OT after 9.6 hours daily - £24.57 per hour Benefit of working with Pertemps as a Class 1 Driver:  + Weekly or monthly pay - you choose + Pension + Annual leave + 24/7 worker support + Mortgage references   To apply for the Class 1 HGV Driver role, please submit an up to date CV or call us on (phone number removed) to discuss the opportunity further
