Machine Operator

Role: Machine Operator Location: Newcastle-under-Lyme Department: Production / Manufacturing Hours: Rotating two‑shift pattern (Mornings & Afternoons) Start Date: Immediate Starts Available PAY £16.54 We’re recruiting for a Machine Operator to join a busy and well‑established production team. This role is ideal for someone with factory or production experience who is committed to safety, quality and teamwork. You will report directly to the Operations Shift Manager and play a key part in maintaining high production standards and efficient machine performance. Benefits: * Canteen * Health & wellbeing programme * Free on‑site parking The Role: * Operate and set up machinery safely and efficiently * Monitor machine performance and report faults * Complete production records accurately * Carry out routine checks, minor adjustments and basic maintenance * Maintain high standards of housekeeping, PPE, safety and quality The Requirements: * Experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar production role * Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills * Reliable approach to quality and safety * Basic IT skills (Excel, SAP); MES knowledge advantageous * Basic mechanical understanding for routine checks and adjustments * Reach FLT licence desirable but not essential If you meet the above criteria and are looking for a long‑term opportunity within a supportive production team, please apply below or call (phone number removed) between 10am–4pm Mon–Fri.
