About you

  • At least 2 years' experience in a high-volume Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable position
  • Experience processing transactions in GBP and EUR, with knowledge of cross-border VAT
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) and ERP platforms
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proactive approach to resolving disputes and discrepancies

Nice to Have Skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar ERP systems
  • Familiarity with construction-specific ERP modules such as Eque2 (EVision)
  • Knowledge of industry-specific reporting tools like Jet Reports
  • Experience working within the construction, engineering, or public works sectors
  • Knowledge of managing subcontractor payments and tax deductions such as CIS and RCT

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Relevant finance or accounting qualifications are advantageous
  • Proven track record in fast-paced, multi-currency environments

Other Requirements

  • Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic setting
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with suppliers and team members
  • No travel involved for this role
