Fabric Technician – City of London - £40,000 📍 Location: Liverpool Street, London 💷 Salary: From £40,000 (dependent on experience) 🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday 7am-4pm / 10am-7pm Are you a skilled Fabric Technician seeking a new challenge within a professional and supportive environment? PRS Recruitment is currently hiring for a Fabric Engineer to join a high-performing maintenance team at a large blue-chip office site in Liverpool Street. This is a static role offering excellent long-term stability, professional development, and a positive work culture. 🔧 Role Overview: You will be responsible for delivering planned and reactive fabric maintenance across the site, ensuring the continued upkeep of the building's interior and exterior features. This includes everything from minor repairs and general decorating to supporting office moves and collaborating with the wider maintenance team. 🛠️ Key Duties Include: General fabric maintenance (doors, locks, furniture repairs, blinds, etc.) Painting, decorating, and minor carpentry Replacing floor and ceiling tiles (carpet, ceramic, suspended) Assisting with office moves and layout changes Supporting other engineers with maintenance duties as required Ensuring all works are completed to a high standard while maintaining safety and compliance✅ Requirements: City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Plastering, Bricklaying, Tiling, Painting & Decorating Proven experience in commercial building maintenance Solid understanding of general fabric-related duties (including basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry) Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team🎁 What’s on Offer: Starting salary of £40,000 (DOE) 25 days holiday + bank holidays Private medical insurance Life assurance Pension scheme Excellent training and development programs Genuine career progression opportunities Supportive and inclusive team culture Overtime availableIf you're ready to bring your skills to a forward-thinking facilities team with first-class benefits and a great working environment — we’d love to hear from you
