Management Accountant

​We’re working with a fast-growing renewable energy and low-carbon infrastructure business that is looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join its growing finance team.This is an exciting opportunity for an accountant who wants to move beyond traditional reporting and play a meaningful role in a business operating at the heart of the energy transition.The opportunityYou’ll be working closely with finance, commercial and operational stakeholders, supporting the business through management reporting, month-end, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and business partnering.We’re looking for someone who has:Experience in renewable energy, energy, utilities, infrastructure or a closely related sectorStrong management accounting and month-end experienceExperience with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysisStrong Excel and financial modelling skillsA commercially minded approach and the ability to turn numbers into useful insightExcellent communication skills and confidence working with non-finance stakeholdersACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualificationThis is a fast-paced and evolving environment, so we’re looking for someone who is proactive, adaptable and comfortable with change.You’ll need to be someone who takes ownership, asks questions, challenges constructively and can work at pace without compromising on accuracy.If you’re currently working in the renewable energy/energy/infrastructure space and are looking for a role where you can have real commercial exposure and be part of a growing business, I’d be very interested in hearing from you.Discipline(s): Renewable Energy, Energy FinanceJob type: Permanent
