About the Role
A vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Aylesbury is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated PE Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This exciting opportunity invites you to inspire students to develop a lifelong passion for physical activity, health, and teamwork. The position is initially temporary with the potential to become permanent.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging, inclusive PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Plan and differentiate lessons to accommodate diverse abilities and foster active participation.
Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude towards physical activity.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing clear, constructive feedback.
Lead and contribute to extracurricular sports clubs, fixtures, and school competitions.
Champion health, fitness, and wellbeing within the school community.
Participate actively in departmental planning and whole-school initiatives.
Person Specification
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent experience teaching PE at secondary level.
Strong subject knowledge across a variety of sports and physical activities.
Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities and backgrounds.
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
Effective organisational and communication skills.
A genuine passion for sport, fitness, and student development.
Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
