I am currently recruiting on behalf of my client for an Engineering Apprenticeship Assessor / Tutor to join their delivery team based in Blandford Forum.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established training provider supporting Armed Forces personnel, offering a rewarding role where you will directly contribute to the development of future engineering talent.
This position involves delivering and assessing the Level 3 Engineering Technician apprenticeship programme, supporting learners throughout their journey from induction through to End Point Assessment.
You will work both independently and as part of a team, delivering a mix of one-to-one and group-based learning, ensuring learners remain engaged, motivated and on track.
This role is ideally suited to an ex-Royal Signals candidate with an electrical engineering background who is looking to transition into a training and mentoring position while remaining closely connected to the Armed Forces environment.
Engineering Apprenticeship Assessor / Tutor Responsibilities: Deliver apprenticeship training through a combination of one-to-one and group-based sessions.
Assess learner work, provide constructive feedback and support progression.
Carry out learner inductions and ongoing progress reviews.
Maintain accurate learner records using e-portfolio systems.
Identify and support individual learner needs to ensure successful completion.
Motivate and guide learners throughout their apprenticeship journey.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure quality and compliance standards are met.
Engineering Apprenticeship Assessor / Tutor Requirements: Must have a Royal Signals background with an electrical engineering bias.
HNC or equivalent experience within an engineering or electrical discipline.
Previous experience in coaching, mentoring or training within a workplace environment.
A teaching or assessor qualification, or willingness to work towards.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Confident using digital systems and maintaining accurate documentation.
A learner-focused approach with a passion for supporting development.
Engineering Apprenticeship Assessor / Tutor Benefits: Salary £32,088 £39,191 depending on experience.
Monday to Friday 37 hours.
25 days holiday plus bank holidays, plus additional Christmas shutdown.
Pension scheme.
Mobile phone and laptop.
