The Best Connection a recruiting Refuse Loader / Waste Collection Operative in the Halifax area Days: Monday to Friday Start Times: Between 5:00am and 7:00am depending on allocated route About the Role We are looking for Refuse Loaders who like an early mornings, working as part of a crew, you will assist with the collection of household and commercial waste and recycling across designated routes. This is a physically demanding role that involves working outdoors in all weather conditions and requires a strong focus on safety and teamwork. Key Responsibilities Collect and load waste and recycling materials safely and efficiently. Work alongside the driver and fellow crew members to complete assigned routes. Follow all health and safety procedures at all times. Provide excellent customer service when interacting with members of the public. Ensure vehicles and equipment are used correctly and maintained in a clean condition. Support operational requirements as directed by supervisors. What We're Looking For Good level of physical fitness. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Positive attitude and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Previous experience in waste collection, labouring, or a similar role is beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided. What We Offer Monday to Friday working pattern.
