Senior Project Manager - Highways   Location: Howden, East Yorkshire Rate: £550 - £600 per day Outside IR35 DOE Duration: 12 months Start date: ASAP   The Role: Are you an experienced Senior Project Manager with a highways background looking for a long term contract outside IR35?   I am looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead a key highways scheme based out of Howden on an initial 12 month contract.   This is a site-based leadership role with full ownership of delivery - safety, quality, programme, commercial performance and stakeholder satisfaction. You will lead a multidisciplinary team through the design, utilities and construction phases, manage the subcontractors delivering the works, and act as the main point of contact for the client throughout.   Key Responsibilities: · Leading a multidisciplinary project team through to completion · Driving performance across health and safety, quality, programme, commercial and stakeholder satisfaction · Managing subcontractors and coordinating the design, utilities and construction phases · Overseeing planning, reporting and risk management · Administering the NEC contract and supporting the commercial management of costs and change · Building and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships through delivery and change · Monitoring weekly progress, identifying delays early and putting recovery plans in place · Maintaining accurate performance and budget records · Promoting a collaborative, safety-first culture on site   Requirements: · Proven highways project delivery experience (essential) · Strong working knowledge of NEC3 / NEC4 contracts (essential) · Experience in highway construction · Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline · Proven track record managing multidisciplinary teams through complex project phases · Confident engaging senior public sector stakeholders and holding subcontractors to standard · Based within commutable distance of Howden   This role is looking for an immediate start.   For more information please click APPLY NOW or call Ty Darbyshire on (phone number removed)
