Head of Administration Compliance & Fire Safety Sector 📍 Rochester, Kent 💰 £40,000 – £50,000 (DOE) 🕒 Full-time | 40 hours per week | Permanent | Office-based 📅 Start date: August 2026 About the Opportunity We are proud to be partnering with a well-established and forward-thinking compliance and fire safety organisation in Rochester, Kent, to recruit a Head of Administration. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced operations or administration professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building high-performing teams and driving service excellence. The Role Reporting directly to the Directors, the Head of Administration will take ownership of the day-to-day management of the organisation’s support functions. You will lead both office-based and remote team members, ensuring seamless service delivery, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement across administrative processes. This role will also play a key part in supporting wider business growth, contributing to strategic initiatives and team development. Key Responsibilities * Lead, mentor and develop a multi-location administrative support team * Oversee workflow management and allocate resources effectively * Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders * Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency * Support recruitment, onboarding and performance management activities * Monitor KPIs and ensure consistently high standards of client service delivery About You We are looking for a proactive and confident leader with a collaborative approach and a strong track record in managing teams within a compliance, fire safety, or similar regulated environment. You’ll bring: * Proven management experience within compliance, fire safety, or a related sector * Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills * The ability to prioritise and manage multiple workloads in a dynamic setting * Experience driving operational improvements and leading change initiatives * A hands-on, solutions-focused mindset Why Apply?
