Senior Acoustic Consultant - Home Based

Wave Dynamics Acoustic Consultants ( are seeking a Senior or Principal Acoustic Consultant with a strong background in building acoustics to join our growing team. This role is UK-based, supporting projects across both the UK and Ireland. This is an opportunity for an experienced consultant to take on a technical leadership role , contributing to the delivery of high-quality building acoustics work while supporting business growth and shaping the future direction of the company. We deliver high-profile projects across the built environment, including: Healthcare, education and commercial schemes Industrial and specialist buildings Our work is grounded in technical excellence, pragmatic design advice, and compliance with UK & Irish standards , with a strong focus on building acoustics design, testing, and compliance . Lead technically complex building acoustics projects Lead and manage building acoustics projects from concept through completion Sound insulation (Part E / TGD-E compliance) Building services noise and vibration Sound insulation testing and reporting Provide clear, practical advice to architects, developers, and contractors Maintain high-quality, report-ready technical outputs Strong experience in building acoustics consultancy with a proven project track record INSUL, SoundPlan (or equivalent), and room acoustics software Ability to manage projects and client relationships independently Full driver’s licence Experience across both UK and Irish regulatory environments Postgraduate qualification (e.g. Competitive salary, aligned with experience Structured CPD and tailored training plan Pension contribution Expenses and benefits package Apply To apply, please send your CV to Karen at office@wdacoustics.For an informal discussion, contact our London office on +44 (0)20 8157 2967 .
