About the role

Starfish Search is supporting a Local Authority in the North of England to appoint an Interim HR Business Partner to support a major transformation programme.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior managers to provide strategic HR support
  • Support organisational change, restructures and service redesign
  • Lead on complex employee relations matters
  • Support workforce planning and organisational development
  • Work with trade unions and key stakeholders
  • Use workforce data to drive improvement
  • Ensure HR policies and processes are applied consistently


About You:

  • HR Business Partner experience within Local Government
  • Strong experience supporting transformation and change programmes
  • Sound knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Able to operate effectively in a complex, political environment
