GTS Group are supporting an innovative engineering business that is experiencing significant growth and is looking to strengthen its manufacturing engineering team. This opportunity offers exposure to cutting-edge composite technologies, advanced production methods and highly complex engineering projects across aerospace, defence and high-performance application

What You'll Be Doing

Developing and improving composite manufacturing processes Optimising lay-up, cure and trimming operations Creating manufacturing documentation, process instructions and routings Supporting production, quality and design teams Leading investigations into manufacturing and quality issues Supporting equipment commissioning and production scale

-up Driving lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives Ensuring compliance with AS9100 and aerospace quality standards

What We're Looking For

Experience within composites manufacturing

Strong understanding of composite materials and manufacturing processes

Autoclave and lamination experience

Aerospace, defence, motorsport or advanced engineering background

Knowledge of AS9100 or equivalent quality systems

Ability to work cross-functionally within engineering and manufacturing teams

Nice To Have

Automated Fibre Placement (AFP) Lean Six Sigma qualifications ERP/MRP system
