Java Developer - WebLogic & Oracle

Job title: Java Engineer - WebLogic & Oracle Rate: £450 per day Location: Telford/Hybrid 2 days onsite per week Contract: 6 months rolling Candidates are required to be willing and eligible to go through BPSS security clearance for this role I'm looking for an experienced Java Engineer to join a high-profile enterprise environment, working on live Internal Applications within Tax Administration. This is a hands-on role focused on keeping critical services running, supporting batch processing and delivering controlled change across a complex application landscape. The ideal candidate You're someone who takes ownership of what you build and support. You're comfortable working in a live enterprise environment where stability, controlled change and getting things done all matter. Responsibilities: Developing, enhancing and supporting enterprise Java applications Supporting live services and BAU production environments Working with WebLogic application servers Writing and supporting complex Oracle SQL queries Managing code through Git and controlled release processes Building and managing dependencies with Maven Working with Kubernetes and containerised platforms Supporting batch and operational activities Balancing live-service support with ongoing change and improvement Required Experience: Java - essential WebLogic - essential Oracle SQL - essential Git - essential Maven - essential Kubernetes / containerised platforms - essentialAlso desirable: Shell scripting Linux Command-line tooling Experience supporting batch processing or operational workloads If you're a Java Engineer who knows WebLogic and Oracle inside out, and you're looking for your next long-term enterprise project, please feel free to submit your CV
