This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Calypso specialist to take on a leadership role, managing a team while working across the full product lifecycle from requirements gathering through to go-live.The RoleLeading a team of 4+ staffLiaising with Operations, Product Management and Technology teamsGathering requirements, both internal and externalWriting specifications and test plansConfiguring the Calypso applicationPreparing demos for clientsOnboarding new products and services from UAT to ProductionLiaising with software vendorsTraining junior members of the teamAssisting the User Acceptance process with clients and the in-house QA teamWhat We're Looking For:6+ years' experience as a Calypso Business Analyst within a Financial Services companyStrong hands-on Calypso knowledge across Back Office (Static Data, Cash & Security Management), Collateral Management, Accounting, Limits and Risk ManagementStrong business knowledge of Interest Rates (IRD), Fixed Income, FX, FX Options, Equities (EQD) and Exchange Traded Derivatives (Futures & Options)Proven business analysis skills, managing requirements from business specification through to go-liveExposure to both waterfall and agile software development methodologiesA track record of applying creative thinking, innovation and problem-solving to complex issuesConfidence communicating with IT professionals and end users at all levels of seniorityThe ability to liaise with the business to understand requirements and present clear, concise solutionsA self-starting approach, driving resolutions and improvements rather than simply maintaining the status quoStrong prioritisation skills, with the ability to break down complex issues and identify root causes
