Senior Technical Coordinator

We are currently working with a well-established residential developer delivering high-quality, design-led housing schemes across Hampshire and the surrounding areas. The business has built a strong reputation for delivering bespoke residential developments with a focus on quality, buildability, and technical excellence from planning through to completion. Their projects range from traditional housing developments through to more complex mixed-tenure and design-focused schemes. Due to a strong pipeline of secured work, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Senior Technical Coordinator to support the delivery of multiple residential developments across the region. This is a hands-on technical role managing the coordination of drawings, consultants, technical approvals, and design information throughout the lifecycle of residential developments. Projects typically range from 20 – 150+ unit schemes, including traditional housing, apartments, and mixed-tenure developments. Candidates must have residential housebuilding experience working for a developer or residential contractor to be considered. Duties and Responsibilities * Coordinate and manage external consultants including Architectural, Structural, Civil and M&E teams * Manage the production and review of working drawings and technical information * Ensure information is coordinated and issued in line with programme requirements * Support developments from planning handover through to completion and adoption * Discharge planning conditions and manage Building Regulation approvals * Coordinate utilities, drainage, roads and infrastructure information * Manage RFIs, technical queries, design changes and drawing revisions * Attend and lead technical and site meetings where required * Liaise with Construction, Commercial, Sales and Land teams throughout the development process * Ensure compliance with NHBC, Building Regulations and warranty provider requirements * Monitor consultant performance and track technical progress against key milestones * Support value engineering and buildability reviews during pre-construction and live phases Tickets / Qualifications * HNC/HND or Degree in Construction, Architectural Technology or similar * Full UK Driving Licence * Strong understanding of residential construction methods and technical coordination * Good knowledge of Building Regulations, NHBC and residential design standards * Excellent communication and organisational skills * Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple live projects Experience Required * Proven experience as a Technical Coordinator or Senior Technical Coordinator within residential housebuilding * MUST have experience working on residential developments for a developer or main contractor * Strong understanding of residential technical delivery from planning through to completion * Experience coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams * Knowledge of planning conditions, Building Control and technical approvals * Experience managing drawing packages and construction information * Exposure to roads, drainage and utility coordination desirable * Comfortable supporting live sites and resolving technical queries during construction * Experience working alongside Land, Planning, Commercial and Construction teams If you are interested or know someone who could be a good fit, get in touch or send your CV across for a confidential conversation
