Second in Maths

Teachwise is currently looking for an experienced Second in Maths for a mainstream secondary school based within the Bolton area. The role will start on 1st September and is offered on a full-time, permanent basis. The position will involve supporting the HOD as well as other maths teachers within the department and delivering engaging maths lessons at both KS3 & KS4. Previous experience working as second in Maths or above is essential to be considered for this role. Key Requirements: * Previous experience working as Second in Maths or above * Ability to teach Maths up to KS4 * Strong leadership skills * A passion for the subject * Ability to raise standards throughout * Excellent communication skills * Ability to differentiate lessons accordingly * Good behaviour management strategies * Hold right to work in the UK * Have an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service * Hold QTS or equivalent The school is looking for a team player with an ability to deliver pupil progress.
