We are currently recruiting for an experienced Bid Manager to join a top-tier main contractor based in West London.
The business delivers a diverse portfolio of projects across the public sector, education, commercial and leisure sectors, with project values typically ranging from £10m to £80m.
The Role
As Bid Manager, you will take ownership of the pre-construction and tender process, working closely with the wider pre-construction, estimating and operational teams to develop high-quality, competitive bids.
Key responsibilities will include:
Managing bids from initial enquiry through to submission and handover.
Developing and managing bid programmes, ensuring key deadlines are met.
Coordinating input from estimating, design, planning, commercial and operational teams.
Developing compelling bid strategies, submissions and presentations.
Managing client and stakeholder engagement throughout the tender process.
Reviewing tender documentation and identifying key risks, opportunities and requirements.
Supporting the development of win strategies and ensuring submissions are commercially and technically robust.
Attending client interviews and presentations where required.
About You
The ideal candidate will have proven Bid Management experience within a main contracting environment, with a strong understanding of the UK construction market.
Experience working across public sector, education, commercial or leisure projects would be highly beneficial, particularly on schemes ranging from £10m–£80m.
You will need to be confident managing multiple tenders, working with senior stakeholders and producing high-quality submissions under tight deadlines.
